Here Sekou expresses his love and dedication to Africa and the Mandingue. Many tracks are dedicated to people that were dear to his heart (His Father, Ramu Lunda, his sister Aicha Conde and Master teacher, Mamady Keita). Lanaya is an amazing listening experience that takes you through musical journey of the African American experience (Chicago Djembe) and the folklore of the Mandingue of West Africa.
