African Drum Class

As a student of Kafolike School of Percussion, you embark on a holistic journey into the heart of Malinké (Mandingue) musical tradition.

Here, you don’t just learn rhythms—you gain deep cultural context. You’ll study the history, people, and regions that gave birth to each rhythm, while also developing technical proficiency, musicality, and physical endurance.

Our comprehensive curriculum includes solo phrasing, stamina-building exercises, and ensemble training that leads to a well-rounded understanding of the Djembe Orchestra. Whether you're an experienced drummer looking to refine your craft or a beginner starting fresh, Kafolike provides the perfect foundation for mastering the sound, application, and spirit of traditional West African percussion.
