African Drum Class
Discover the Rhythm. Live the Tradition.
At Kafolike School of Percussion, we invite you to experience the heartbeat of Malinké (Mandingue) culture through the power of rhythm. More than just drumming lessons, our program immerses you in the stories, traditions, and spirit of West African music.
Here, you’ll learn the “why” behind every rhythm—its origins, meaning, and cultural significance—while building your technique, endurance, and creative expression. Each class is designed to connect your hands, mind, and spirit to the drum in a way that honors the lineage of the music.
Our dynamic curriculum blends solo phrasing, stamina training, and ensemble performance, helping you develop confidence and precision as a musician. Whether you’re a beginner discovering the Djembe for the first time or an experienced drummer seeking to deepen your craft, Kafolike provides the tools, guidance, and community to help you grow.
Join us and become part of a living tradition—where rhythm becomes language, movement becomes music, and every beat tells a story.
